At an old knife factory in the village of Fiskars, there is a craft brewery, an urban winery as well as a micro distillery. This is where we brew Fiskars Brewery‘s witty wild beers, Noita Winery‘s natural wines and Ägräs Distillery‘s wild herb infused distillates. Also, our sister brewery Suomenlinnan Panimo produces here its beers in addition to its home nest Suomenlinna Sea Fortress.
Until 2001 the factory produced knifes and other sharp tools to be used at kitchen and on the field. Nowadays the entire 1970’s building is focusing on our alcohol beverages. We have a visitor centre with shop, bar, and restaurant. We organise tours, tastings, events, and you can rent our facilities for meetings, events and other festivities.
We organise guided tours where you can see what’s cooking at our production facilities. During the tour you can taste the products and afterwards sip a drink at our large terrace by the Fiskars River. Please note that the open tours are organised in Finnish language (if not specified), but if you’d like to book a tour in English for a group, contact us beforehand via email or by phone.
Our gastrobar-type kitchen is open during the summer season (June-August) serving high-quality food paired with our beers, natural wines, and spirits. For larger groups we serve food also outside of the high season.

Veitsitehdas is located in the Fiskars Ironworks village, just a one-hour ride from both Helsinki and Turku. The nearest train station is in Karjaa, from which you can conveniently take a 36-minute bus ride to Veitsitehdas. Bosse bus schedules can be found HERE.
Once you arrive in Fiskars, we are situated right in the center of the village. From the market square parking lot or bus stop, walk a couple of hundred meters along the riverside on a street called Peltorivi. Veitsitehdas is the stylishly gray, 1970s concrete production building in the heart of this otherwise traditional, picturesque ironworks. The entrance is on the riverside right side of the building.
