The Veitsitehdas restaurant combines a modern gastro bar kitchen with high-quality artisan beverages made under the same roof – craft beers, wines, and cocktails produced just next door by Fiskars Brewery, Ägräs Distillery, and Noita Winery. Especially known as a seasonal summer restaurant, it serves delightfully refined dishes made from the best seasonal ingredients. The menu is designed to complement the flavour profiles of our locally made drinks.

During 22.12. – 4.1. kitchen is closed from Monday to Sunday.
During the holiday season and when our kitchen is closed we are offering a simple bar menu prepared by the bar staff. Loaded fries etc small dishes.
The kitchen offers a selection of Christmas delicacies for your festive table, as gifts under the tree, or as holiday treats for relatives. In the Beverage Shop, a limited quantity of mustard, devil’s jam, and malt bread will be available from 22 November to 21 December.
We also prepare, by pre-order, rutabaga, carrot, and sweet potato casseroles, mushroom salad, malt bread, mustard, and devil’s jam. Pre-orders can be made by email (info@veitsitehdas.fi) by Tuesday, 16 December. Pre-ordered items can be picked up at Veitsitehdas during our opening hours between 19 and 21 December.
At the end of November, we’ll be hosting a “cooking with the chef” evening, where a small group of participants will get the chance to prepare a three-course dinner together with our head chef Janne in the Gastrobar kitchen. The will be planned and prepared together, the tables set and suitable drinks selected to accompany the menu. Finally, the the meal will be enjoyed together by candlelight around a large communal dining table. The price for the meal and the course is 60 € per person, including an appropriate amount of cooking beverages and paired drinks for the dinner.

We offer group menus for larger gatherings. You can choose between a buffet-style menu (minimum 20 people) or a soup lunch for groups (minimum 10 people). We also offer breakfast and other snaks to meeting group clients. Special diets and food allergines must be send 10 days before the booked event. For group dining inquiries, please contact our customer service in advance at info@veitsitehdas.fi.
Veitsitehdas Bar is open year-round. From our twelve taps, we serve local craft beers, and long drinks produced under the same roof at Veitsitehdas. We also offer natural wines from our winery, as well as spirits crafted by our distillery, which are also used to create delicious cocktails.
In our bottle and can shop, you can purchase all the drinks produced in-house with a maximum of 8% alcohol content to take home. We also offer a selection of non-alcoholic beverages. Our popular tasting packs make an excellent gift for a friend, a housewarming party present, a thoughtful cottage present, or a perfect addition under the Christmas tree. We have Fiskars Brewery’s and Suomenlinna Brewery’s craft beers, Ägräs Distillery’s long drinks & hard seltzers on our drink shop’s shelves, not to forget Noita Winery’s max 8% wines. Because of Finnish alcohol legislation, we are not allowed to sell stronger alcohol products to go, but you can find them from Alko or order through the Bottlescouts webshop with easy and trustworthy door delivery.

Walk from the village along the riverside for a couple of hundred meters towards the south on Peltorivi road. Veitsitehdas is the stylish grey, 1970s concrete production building in the otherwise traditional, picturesque heart of the Fiskars village. The entrance to the bar, restaurant and shop is on the riverside.
